A few days ago, I bought two games, "リズム天国" and "Every Extend Extra", and both of them are really great!
"リズム天国 Rhythm Paradice" is Nintendo's new game for GBA. It's simple how to play with it, just pushing buttons to rhythms. I found that it's even more severe than expected, and all the more reason to that, the game is really entertaining and It's hard to get bored with it.
"Every Extend Extra" was released for PSP by Q Entertainment founded by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, well-known and talented game designer. It's based on Omega's personal work "EveryExtend".
The rule of the game is simple. All we need is to attack and explode enemies with self-destructing. The more we get items and concatenate chains of explosion, the more faster and stimulating the BGM will be. It's really fascinating and addictive like "Rez" directed by Mizuguchi as with E3.
Nintendo DS Browser have gone on sale in Japan today. Nintendo launched two versions of it, one for old DS, the other for DS Lite. Of cource I've got it, the latter, without any delay :)
It's based on Opera browser, to be more accurate, "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE6.0; Nitro) Opera 8.50 [ja]", but we shouldn't think it as if the same one on our computer. The functions are restricted in many aspects for security purposes, and it behaves slowly more than a bit due to very severe constraints of its hardware.
Well, is it useless? Absolutely not. I've treated it as a demonstration of more comfortable input interfaces rather than only a web browser. Viewed from this point, it provides us a new experience. Input with a stylus via hand-writing recognition and predictive kana-kanji conversion by ATOK work better in combination beyond expectation.
I don't feel whole satisfied with it, but I want to praise Nintendo for its good product nonethless.
Update: I found more details about Nintendo DS Browser on Opera's site, Opera for Nintendo. Why don't you check it out, too?
