DVD version of "涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" Vol.1 has been released today following after that shocking Vol.00 and I've already got it. So typical ;)

The DVD, limited edition, includes two episodes and lots of special amenities. I'm hardly interested in those promotions, though. Anyway, I watched it again and have been freshly impressed with its incredibly high quality.

Haruhi is the anime I watched with high interest for the first time since "serial experiments lain". I'm not a good watcher of anime at all, but it's so nice for me to have encountered such nice work, I think.

Trend Micro, which provides the security-concerned solutions, announced a new spyware named "TSPY_HARADONG.A".

This memory-resident spyware arrives on a system as a file dropped or downloaded by another malware. It may also be downloaded by an unknowing user from a malicious Web site.

When executed, it displays one of the following images to hide its malicious routine from the user:

Here's an innovation for the alarm clock world! It awakes us every morning by the characters' voice appearing in the Japanese anime named "涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya".

For example, Haruhi awakes us, saying,

いつまでダラダラ寝てんのよ！
今日もこの世の不思議を探しに行くんだから！
ちょっとでも遅れたら罰金だからね！

(I'm sorry I can't translate the eccentric nuance of her voice into English...)

and we'll be strongly motivated for new day! I really want to get it.
