Recently, I'm really addicted to CALPIS SOUR Premium Rich. It's made directly from CALPIS itself instead mixing it with liquer. Literally rich and dense. If I dare to take up its demerit, it's so delicious and easy-to-drink that I can't help but drinking too much, which causes me to get fatter easier. Anyway, I'm impotent in front of something tasty things, I'll keep drinking by getting bored with it.
How well does your name Google? Who are you up against? (Celebrities, etc.)

Searched in Japanese, nothing is found, because I haven't revealed my real name on the Net. On the other hand, in alphabetical name, my page on CPAN found. It is not because of that I've veiled my Japanese name from the Net intentionally or I want to be anonymous, but only haven't had a necessity to appeal it widely to the Net. Actually, as written before, whenever there's an adequate necessity, I use my real name.
I'm really absorbed in lolcats these days. Wikipedia explains:
Lolcats, a compound of lol and cat, are photos of cats with humorous captions.
(*snip*)
They are usually intentionally grammatically incorrect, with errors in spelling and syntax featuring "strangely-conjugated verbs".
I have seen lolcats freaquently here and then recently, though don't know precisely from when they have been talked about by the people on the Net.
It's the typical one of them which you see at the right side of this post. They're so cute and funny, even for such people as me who can't use English well. You can see more at I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER? There're some sub-genres of them. I like especially one of them which forms "INVISIBLE SOMETHING", for example, INVISIBLE MAGIC EYE PICTURE, YOU CAN'T SEE ME. I'M INVISIBLE, etc
This post explains the movement in detail. lolcats seem to originate in subcultures on the net like leetspeak and image macro.
As many of you do, I've enjoyed twittering these days. The other day, some ideas came to me, so I set up several tweets to fetch some information from somewhere on the Net and post it to Twitter using Plagger. Among them, there's a tweet automatically posts Question of the Day from Vox to Twitter: http://twitter.com/qotd_vox
Today, I found Team Vox Blog took it up. Really honored!
For those of you who Twitter, we wanted to let you know that the Question of the Day now automatically updates its own Twitter account. Special thanks to Kentaro for setting up and maintaining it.
Well, I'm wondering whether I should adjust the tweet to update several times per day. Now, it updates once a day at 10 AM -0800(PST), so many of followers of it may miss an update. However, I also think it might be annoying that QotD is frequently updated. Hmm, it's a thorny problem.
UPDATE: My name also appears in チームVoxブログ.
My pleasure ;)
Big news! Nozomi Tsuji got pregnant and will get married with Taiyo Sugiura. Congratulations!
Frankly, I feel a little sad, though...

I've been suffering from muscle ache since yesterday. Of course I know why so.
The day before yesterday, May 5, Kenichi Asai, who was a vocalist/guitarist of Blankey Jet City which was one of the coolest rock bands in Japan and now dismissed, visited my hometown and performed his songs live with two other people for rhythm section. It's really incredible because the place where I live in is so rural that such famous people as him rarely feel like to do so.
Naturally I went there, and was really excited to go mad, jumping highly and banging my head fast and thick. It was truely great experience. And because of it, I have a muscle ache now. I need much more excercise, indeed...
It's been approximately 3 months since I wrote something on here. Anyway, I've just come back.
Now, I'm enjoying a series of holidays called Golden Week. I don't care what GW means, just spend time to read books, browse the Web, doze off whenever I'd like, learn something related to practical skills, English, economics etc, watch some movies, and write something on my blogs. Laziness is my nature.
What is one of your favorite poems?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
Hmm, there're many poems I like. Here's the one that has come to me now, Machida Ko's "頭腐":
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
頭が腐っているのじゃよ
It just repeats only the one phrase, you see, "頭が腐っているのじゃよ" which means like "My head has been going rancid". I can't translate the funny nuance of the original to English, I'm sorry.
I watched a movie, War of the Worlds, which was directed by Steven Spielberg and starred Tom Cruise as a central character. Honestly saying, I hadn't expected it to be fun before I saw it. But I found it pleasurable, at least, not bad.
It has exciting spectacle, alians atack and destruct everything they look at with overwhelming force. The story is boring and ends to reveal an opportunistic reason which is really dissapointing to me. Nonetheless, I claim it's not bad movie, because excitement is only a thing that movies should offer us, isn't it? ;)
After working on programming for a few days, I've made a tiny web application temporarily called "Wii Player".
It's for watching videos from YouTube and optimized for Opera browser on Wii. To be sure, there're amount of apps which offer the same things, but that "Wii Player" has some functions which are superior to others.
- It supports playlist which users can push and store videos in.
- The videos are played one after another automatically without manipulating Wii's remote controller.
- It offers much faster interface using JavaScript.
I'll be glad if you would play with it and leave some comments to improve it. Anyway, enjoy!
